If
you need someone to talk to, the Young Men’s Program staff are here
to listen and help you find solutions to these problems. If you are worried
about getting HIV, they can help you figure out if you are at risk and what
to do about it. Staff members are culturally diverse, highly educated on gay,
bi and trans issues, and won’t judge you no matter what’s going
on in your life. Supportive counseling is free and confidential. The office
is located in Bellmore, NY, and we’ll even help you with train or bus
fare reimbursement if you need it.
The Young Men’s program sponsors weekly support groups throughout the year. These groups are an excellent way to make friends, learn more about yourself, and figure out how you can lead your life with pride and peace of mind. Groups are free, and van transportation is provided for Nassau County residents. Check out Pride for Youth’s calendar of events to see what’s going on this month.
