Spread The Word About LICC!
Hey All!
We've been trying to grow our social media accounts and increase our visibility on Google so that more people in crisis know we exist for quite some time now. It's definitely working, and our engagement is up, but it's still not where I want it to be. Although I'm in my (late, ugh) 30's and I probably SHOULD know more about social media and getting the word out, I tend to just use to lurk around, doom scroll and give myself anxiety right before bed time and then repeatedly tell myself I need to delete this crap. SOOOO that's where you come in! We have an amazing pool of volunteers who have all kinds of connections to the community. Maybe you yourself are in influencer on certain sites and people care what you have to say and share, or maybe you're friends with an influencer who would want to promote us! Maybe you're the in certain groups on Facebook where you're active and have connections! What I am asking is that you follow, like, and engage with LICC on social media. We are on Facebook and Instagram (you can click the little Instagram and Facebook logos on the right side of this page to get to our stuff, or click where it says "get involved" then click "contact" to see more). When we post stuff, you can share it! It even just helps with visibility if you like it. You can write us a google review (I hear that helps a ton with the search algorithms) and encourage your friends and families to do the same. It's a small gesture that doesn't take much time, but will do a ton to help us.
If you have any questions, pleas let me know. And as always, thank you for all you do for LICC!
Dana
Here for this! As a community event organizer I often share info about LICC but am happy to do so more actively. Are we permitted to share graphics from the slides or any other educational material we have/come across during training? Is there anything off limits to share? Happy to chat further about this in a direct message, but figured others may have similar questions.
