Welcome To The Message Book!

April is volunteer appreciation month! The Administrative Staff at LICC recgonizes and appreciates every single one of you every day of every month, but especially this one. Every day, you show up to your shifts with compassion and empathy. You listen without judgment. You hold space for people in their darkest moments. You are the voice that says, “You are not alone.” Whether you're answering the hotline, taking chats, or working behind the scenes — you are saving lives! We couldn’t do this without you. From the bottom of the Admin Staff Members hearts — thank you!!

Also, thank you to everyone who attended the Volunteer Appreciation Party this past Saturday and for braving the rain and cold to come out. We had a great time catching up with everyone, and hope you did too 😄

We also honored some volunteers who consistantly went "above and beyond" for the agency this year, whether that be moving around to fill in gaps, consistantly picking up extra shifts, mentoring, etc.:
